Effective communication between the client and the developer is essential. We will speak to the client face to face if possible or by phone as often as makes sense during the project. We will contact the customer when any key decisions need to be made to get their input. We will use language the client understands rather than technical jargon.
The other 2 points below are of course just other tools to communicate so we suppose the key to success here could could be summed up in one word : "COMMUNICATION".
